The Valley Building Officials Association (V.B.O.A.) was established in 1959 for the advancement of fundamental and practical knowledge concerning the building trades; building, plumbing, electrical and health.
V.B.O.A encourages a friendly exchange of information and experience among its members to better serve the citizens of our community, in order to provide minimum requirements to safeguard life or limb, health and public welfare.
V.B.O.A. Provides access to professional training and quality continuing education to it's members at their annual education conference held at South Padre Island.
