“Every goal has a way.” An inspiring motto for anyone, but this particular motto belongs to the new boxing conditioning gym, The Way L.L.C.. On February 1st of this year, Brandon Montella, the 2012 Heavyweight New England Golden Gloves champion, will officially open the freestanding gym The Way L.L.C. The gym, which will be located in Woburn, Massachusetts, is a major accomplishment for Brandon after training his boxing clients from his basement to running one of the most successful boxing conditioning programs on the North Shore of Massachusetts.
Before meeting members from the Veteran Business Owners Initiative, Brandon was a decorated Marine graduating first in his class and was a recruit honor graduate for platoon 3028. Brandon achieved rank of Sergeant in less than 3 years; all ranks were obtained meritoriously. He was then stationed at Quantico and worked as a machinist for the Headquarters and Service Battalion.
Before deciding to start The Way L.L.C., Brandon was an equipment manufacturer rep for a $2.5 million dollar product group within 13 states. Brandon knew his real passion was boxing and knew he could not waste that talent. Once meeting the members of the VBOI through a friend, he knew it was time to live his dream.
